The 12th Annual Tour de Toad takes off at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at Cantrell Field (the Conway airport).

An official event of Toad Suck Daze, Tour de Toad raises funds for Literacy Action of Central Arkansas to increase literacy while encouraging a healthy lifestyle through a fun cycling event.

Registration and packet pickup are at 9 a.m.

Cyclists can pick between three routes: a 10-mile course (family ride), 20-mile route (intermediate ride) and a 40-mile route, which is very hilly. The three routes increase in intensity as riders go up in miles, perfect for all levels of cyclists.

There is also an option for virtual riders to register — ideal for anyone who loves cycling and wishes to support Literacy Action but cannot attend the event.

To register, visit active.com/conway-ar/cycling/races/12th-annual-tour-de-toad-and-iron-toad-charity-bike-ride-2019.

All registration prices include an event T-shirt. Riders must register by Friday, April 12, to be guaranteed a T-shirt. All registration prices, except for the virtual rider option, also include a Whole Hog sandwich at the end of the ride.

Each route is fully SAG-supported with aid stations and bathrooms.

This is our sixth year for the Iron Toad event, where Literacy Action partners with the Conway Kiwanis Club (toadsuckrun.com) to award those that complete the Toad Run and the Tour de Toad ride with a custom medal.

All registrants 18 or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
