20 Jul 2026 Conway Regional Foundation awards $117,500
CONWAY — The Conway Regional Health Foundation has awarded $117,500 in scholarships to 57 area students currently enrolled in, or beginning their studies in, a health-related career field. The announcement also marks the launch of the Foundation’s CARE Initiative; a new fundraising effort focused on expanding educational opportunities for the next generation of healthcare professionals.

The CARE Initiative, which stands for Creating Access and Resources through Education, celebrates the Foundation’s 30-year legacy of scholarship giving while investing in the future of healthcare. Through scholarships that support students, Conway Regional employees, and resident physicians, the initiative helps remove financial barriers to education, strengthen Arkansas’s healthcare workforce, and create opportunities for those called to care for others.
“These scholarships are more than an investment in individual students. They are an investment in the future of healthcare across the communities we serve,” said Maegan Dyson, Chief Development Officer at Conway Regional Health System. “As we celebrate 30 years of scholarship giving, the CARE Initiative allows us to build on that legacy by creating access and resources through education. Every scholarship awarded today represents an opportunity for someone to pursue their calling while helping strengthen the future of care in Arkansas.”
For a limited time, gifts to establish a new named scholarship through the CARE Initiative will be matched, doubling the impact of donor support and helping create even more opportunities for future healthcare professionals.
