St. Joseph Girls Golf named 2A State Champs

St. Joseph High School’s Girls Golf Team won the 2A State Championship on Tuesday at the Glenwood Country Club in Glenwood. The last time the Lady Bulldogs won State was in 2010.  A dozen teams and 50 girls from across the state competed on the 18-hole course.

St. Joseph came out on top with a team score of 274. Horatio was the Runner-Up, shooting 280. Bella Frisby, from Parker’s Chapel, was the Medalist with a personal score of 75.

St. Joseph’s Presli Webb was the Runner-Up by shooting 80. She now moves on to the State Overall Tournament at the Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock on October 13.
