Daniel Cobb’s running three-pointer at the buzzer tied the game at 45-45 heading into half after an explosive back-and-forth first half at the Cage Center. Jonathan Ryan and Darvis Rasberry, Jr. nailed back-to-back long balls early in the second half to maintain a one-point lead for the Warriors, but the wheels fell off for the away side soon after.

Berry subsequently went on a 20-3 run to jump out to a 71-55 lead and would not look back en route to handing Hendrix its fifth consecutive loss. Ryan led the Warriors with a season-high 17 points. Cobb, Rasberry, and Colten Berry also finished the afternoon in double-figures.

The loss drops the Warriors to 3-11 (0-3 SAA), and they will now return home to host Birmingham-Southern (BSC) and Millsaps for an SAA doubleheader. Tip-off versus BSC is set for 8:00 PM on Friday night at Grove Gymnasium.
