Runners with ties to St. Joseph among top ‘Freezin’ finishers

Two men with close ties to St. Joseph School were among the top three runners in the “Freezin’ for a Reason” 10K in Conway on Feb. 1. Larry Trussell and Kevin Briggler finished first and third, respectively, in the 50-59 age bracket.

The race started and ended at Conway High School.

Along with the 10K, there was also a 5K and a “Lap for Life” for families and their children to honor all those past and present patients of Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Larry teaches oral communications and personal finance at St. Joseph. Kevin is a 1986 graduate of the school who frequently assists with St. Joseph athletic programs.
