Community activities: Martial Arts for Kids; assisting with meals for the homeless; volunteer opportunities with Boy Scouts of America.

Church activities: Fellowship Bible Church; weekly fellowship and Bible study with co-workers.

Family: Two wonderful sons: Edward, 16, and Marius, 29.

Education: Graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff; master’s degree in pharmacology and doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Tuskeegee University; doctor of medicine degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and internal medicine residency from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
