NFL player to show support for Baptist Health program

NFL offensive lineman Laurent Duvernay-Tardif of the Kansas City Chiefs will make an appearance at the Bolo Bash® Tennis Tournament on Sunday, April 15, to help the Baptist Health Foundation continue its goal to improve the health of young Arkansans.

Duvernay-Tardif is not only an NFL starter but also studying to become a doctor and is passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles for youth.

Money raised by the foundation’s Bolo Bash Tennis Tournament, April 7-15, will go to the Healthy & Active Youth Program. This is a free program at Baptist Health for youth ages 11 to 17 and includes nutrition classes, food demonstrations and training with exercise specialists.

The beneficiary of the tennis tournament aligns perfectly with Duvernay-Tardif’s mission of changing young lives.

The tennis tournament provides a way for all types of sports fans to do something in the community that benefits Arkansas youth. The free-to-watch tournament features 10 days of action-packed USTA Men’s Pro Circuit tennis, a Junior Pro Am and a Kids’ Day. The tournament also includes a Steak Soireé event coupled with an opportunity to meet and greet with Duvernay-Tardif.
