Harding Tennis ranked No. 46 in Division II

SEARCY – Harding men’s tennis is ranked No. 46 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings. The Bisons are currently 11-7 overall with three additional wins against junior colleges. Harding is 7-7 against Division II opponents.

Two Bisons are nationally ranked in singles. Junior Teodor Zlatar is ranked No. 49, and junior Cas de Ruiter is ranked No. 51. Zlatar is 12-4 overall and leads the team with five wins at No. 1 singles. De Ruiter is 11-8 overall and leads the team with four wins against nationally ranked opponents.

Zlatar and de Ruiter are ranked No. 2 in Division II doubles. The duo had not played together since October, but teamed again for a 6-1 win over Mo.-St. Louis on Mar. 29. They are 9-2 overall this season.

Harding’s women have one doubles team nationally ranked. Romane Britt and Karli Roux are ranked No. 40. The duo is 12-7 overall and has won seven dual matches at No. 1.

Harding’s men play next on Apr. 12 at home in an MIAA-South match against Southeastern Oklahoma. Harding’s women play Apr. 9 at home in a GAC match against Henderson St.
