Harding teams recognized

The Harding men’s and women’s cross-country teams recently received All-Academic Team recognition by the United States Track and Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association for posting cumulative GPAs of 3.00 or higher.
 Harding’s men tied for the sixth-highest GPA in Division II at 3.60.

Harding’s women had a 3.52 GPA.
Harding also had four individuals earn All-Academic commendations for compiling cumulative GPAs of 3.25 or highest and finishing among the top 30 percent of eligible runners at the regional championship.


Seniors Lawson Belcher and Lucas Goodspeed received the honor for the Bisons. Belcher is a graphic design major with a 3.97 GPA and placed 53rd at the Central Region meet.

Goodspeed is an accounting major with a 4.00 GPA and finished 39th.
 Honored for Harding’s women were sophomore Alicja Minczuk and senior Madison Drennan. Minczuk is a graphic design major with a 3.64 GPA who placed 45th at regionals, and Drennan is a social work major with a 3.66 GPA who placed 57th.
