Haileab leads Harding’s Men in season opener

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Harding freshman Noah Haileab was the Bisons’ top finisher Saturday at the City Auto Memphis Twilight Cross-Country Classic, hosted by the University of Memphis at Mike Rose Soccer Complex.

Haileab, a native of Pearland, Texas, placed 14th in the four-mile race, finishing in 20:47.57.

Harding’s team placed fifth of nine teams with 113 points.

Other scoring runners included sophomore Luke Walling (16th, 20:51.18), senior Jackson Pruim (27th, 21:27.92), sophomore Zach Reed (29th, 21:34.40), freshman Tucker Allen (30th, 21:36.14), and junior Matt Ingalsbe (35th, 22:04.17).

Freshman Kyle Oakes was 46th in 22:41.86 and freshman Brycen Biskner was 54th in 23:13.23.The Bisons’ next action is Friday, Sept. 16, as Harding hosts the Steve Guymon Invitational.
