St. Joseph High School sophomore Presli Webb led all golfers from 12 2A schools with a score of 91 in a one-hole playoff for first place honors at the State High School Golf Tournament. It was held Sept. 28 on the Turkey Mountain Ranch course near Horseshoe Bend.

The Lady Bulldogs finished in fourth place, only four strokes behind the leader with a team score of 310. Conway Christian led the field, followed by Melbourne and Salem.

Webb’s play at the state tournament earned her All-State honors to compete in the Overall Individual State Championship in October at the Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Little Rock.
