30 Aug 2023 St. Joseph boys and girls golf teams dominate

St. Joseph High School’s boys and girls golf teams won 1st Place in their matches on Tuesday against Mayflower and Lamar on the Links at Cadron Valley course. 

Matthew Seiter was the boys’ medalist with a nine-hole score of 38. Brendan Baker shot a 44, while Owen Coney and Evan McMillian finished with a 46 and 47. The boys team score was 128. 

On the girls’ side, Kaitlyn Kordsmeier medaled with a score of 40. Avery White shot a 49 and Allie Evans had a 58. Their team score was 147. 

Both teams play again today at the Links at Cadron Valley against Quitman and Perryville.
