Thirty-six teams participated last week in the annual University of Central Arkansas Purple Circle Golf Tournament at Centennial Valley Golf and Country Club, marking it one of the most successful in the event’s history.

The teams represented UCA fans, sponsors, alumni and staff from Dallas to Conway. Teams showed up in a big way and enjoyed beautiful weather along with breakfast, lunch and drinks as well as the opportunity to win a full prize package that included brand new putters, UCA merchandise and golf bags.

“What a great day and gathering of our Bear Nation,” said UCA Athletics Director Dr. Brad Teague. “With over 150 participants and perfect weather, the tournament was a success. Kudos to our external staff for putting on such a great event.”
