CONWAY – Playing their fourth game against a team that went to the NAIA National tournament last season, #10 Central Baptist College men’s basketball hosted the Panthers of Philander Smith University last Saturday at Reddin Fieldhouse. #10 CBC (8-2) led by eight at halftime but couldn’t shut down a potent PSU (7-3) attack and fell 91-84.
Three Mustangs finished in double figures scoring, led by Jonas Carlisle with 19 points. Wade Williams had 18, and Brian Alexander contributed 14 off the bench.
