25 Mar 2026 Mustangs finish third, fourth at AMC preview
MELBOURNE, Ark. — Entering the final round of the American Midwest Conference Preview in third and fourth place, Central Baptist College women’s and men’s golf teed off Tuesday, looking to make a move in the final round. Both teams improved their scores, but didn’t move any positions, with the women’s team shooting a final round of 369 while the men’s team shot the lowest round of the day, closing with a 294.

Laney Crutchfield shot her second-lowest round of the season, firing an 80 to finish in a tie for eighth. Thaylia Ramirez scored 94 in the final round, while Daniella Alastre shot a 96 and Emma McBride shot a 99.
On the men’s side, Preston Nesterenko carded his lowest round ever with a 73 while teammate Kolt Carden also shot a 73. Both Cooper Hermann and Eliseo Campos shot 74’s, with Juan Miranda and individual Lucas Alemparte both shooting 75’s, while individual Ottavio Lutterotti shot a 76 that included four birdies on the back nine.
The Mustangs are off until April 17 when they head to Springfield, Mo., for the Fremont Hills Invitational.
