Mustangs fall to Evangels

Oklahoma City – Playing on the road for the second time in three days, Central Baptist College women’s soccer took on the Evangels of Mid-America Christian this afternoon at Dill Soccer Field. CBC (2-5-1) trailed 1-0 at the half before allowing three second-half goals to fall 4-0 to MACU (6-0-0).

Bailey Walerczyk had another double-digit save game in net, making 10 on the evening. Amanda Parreiras and Vitoria Loiola were both able to get a shot at MACU’s goalkeeper, but all three shots were saved.

CBC will have 12 days off before returning to the pitch on Oct. 23 for their American Midwest Conference opener against the Hornets of Harris-Stowe State. Kickoff is slated that afternoon for 1 p.m.
