04 Jun 2025 Men’s Soccer releases 2025 schedule
CONWAY – Central Baptist College men’s soccer coach Dylan Perdue has announced the 2025 schedule for the CBC Mustangs. The schedule includes a full 18-match slate with nine home matches being played at the brand-new Conway Soccer Complex located at 2100 N. Museum Road next to Curtis Walker Park.

“Our schedule is built to develop our team physically, tactically and mentally,” said Perdue. “We begin with two competitive exhibition matches against Hendrix and Southwest Baptist, which will allow us to assess player roles and team chemistry. The non-conference portion of our schedule features 10 opponents that will challenge our group and expose them to different styles of play. These early tests are essential for sharpening our identity before conference play.”
The season begins on September 2nd and opens with a trip to Fayette, Mo., to take on Central Methodist, followed by the home opener against Oklahoma City University on the 5th. The Mustangs head to Texarkana on the 9th for a match against Texas A&M-Texarkana before heading up to Winfield, Kan., for a match with Southwestern College on the 13th. LSU-Alexandria visits Conway on the 16th, before back-to-back Saturday road matches at William Carey in Mississippi on the 20th and a jaunt down to Hot Springs to take on Champion Christian on the 27th. The final match of the month is at home on the 30th against Tougaloo.
“Our conference schedule includes seven critical matchups, each one serving as a steppingstone toward our goal of reaching a conference title. The structure of our schedule gives us the necessary recovery and preparation time to approach each match with a focused game plan,” added Perdue.
American Midwest Conference play opens in October for the Mustangs as they will host the UHSP Eutectics on the 3rd. A trip to Freed-Hardeman follows on the 7th before a home match against Ecclesia on the 11th. The Mustangs head to Springfield, Mo., on the 14th for an AMC match against Mission before returning to Conway for an AMC contest against Hannibal-LaGrange on the 18th. The final two road matches of the season follow against conference rival Williams Baptist on the 21st before heading to St. Louis for the only time this season to take on Harris-Stowe on the 25th. CBC wraps up the regular season with back-to-back home matches on the 28th against conference foe Columbia and on Halloween against Dallas Christian.
“We close out with a meaningful non-conference Senior Night fixture against Dallas Christian,” added Perdue. “A chance to honor our graduating class at the end of the regular season. Overall, this schedule is designed to stretch our potential, deepen our roster experience, and put us in the best position to make a run toward postseason play. We’re excited about the challenge and confident in our team’s ability to rise to the occasion.”
