Local residents donate to Conway Ministry Center

Engage Management, a local property management company, recently held a drive for personal care items as a response to needs at the Conway Ministry Center (CMC). Additionally, their team members volunteered time to help families in need.

The company hosted the drive for personal care items as a response to specific needs identified by CMC Outreach Coordinator Denay Barlar. The 20-day drive was held at four of the management company’s Conway offices. Donations came from employees, residents, and community members and included soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, baby diapers, disposable razors, and other essentials that contribute to personal well-being.

EM team members donated time for sorting through five pallets of food donations collected from the annual Feed the Need drive. They also unboxed, organized and stocked shelves at CMC. The demand for assistance from CMC has increased significantly, leading the storehouse to operate more days each week to accommodate the needs of approximately 196 in-need families in Conway.

“Engage Management is committed to supporting the local community through both time and resources in hopes of addressing immediate needs and contributing to the overall well-being of the individuals and families being served,” said Morgan Lefler, director of engagement.
