Harding Men’s Tennis No. 4 seed in Central Region Tournament

SEARCY – The Harding men’s tennis team qualified for the 2024 NCAA Division II Men’s Tennis Championship when the bracket was announced on Monday night. Harding (15-8, 3-1) is the No. 4 seed and will face off against No. 1 seed Washburn on Friday, May 13 at 2 p.m. in Topeka, Kansas.

The winner of Harding and Washburn match will move onto the NCAA National Championships May 18 in Orlando, Florida.

The Bisons are making their 12th NCAA Regional appearance overall. The Bisons are still searching for their first win in the NCAA Tournament as they have lost the last eleven matches. The Bisons fell to Southern Arkansas, 4-0, in their last appearance in 2021. 

Harding and Washburn faced each other in the finals of MIAA/GAC Tournament last Friday. The No. 9 Ichabods defeated the Bisons 4-0.
