Little Buckaroos Rodeo

Special needs children in Central Arkansas recently had a chance to be cowboys and cowgirls for the day at the Little Buckaroos Rodeo.

At the rodeo, special needs children and their families were able to enjoy a simulated bucking bull and horse, rope dummy steers, ride horses, play carnival games and more.

Attendees could also watch a real bucking bull, and a champion bareback rider was present at the event.

Work Force Creations, a creative program that benefits adults with developmental disabilities through Faulkner County Day School, sold jewelry, paintings and other handcrafted items at the rodeo.

The event benefitted Faulkner County Day School, a Conway nonprofit organization that provides therapy and other services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.

The rodeo raised about $1,900 for the agency to use for its various programs.
