Lady Mustangs finish fourth at CBC Invitational

CABOT — Looking to move out of fourth place in the final round, Central Baptist College women’s golf teed off on the final round of the CBC Invitational on Tuesday at Cypress Creek Golf Club. CBC improved by seven shots on day two, but couldn’t close the gap, finishing the tournament in fourth place with a score of 735.

Individually, Alyssa Hagewood finished with an 86 to shoot a 166 in the tournament, good for 12th place overall. Laney Crutchfield had the best final round on the women’s team, shooting an 85 in the final round to finish with a 180. Abby Kirby closed with a 95 to shoot 189 and Thaylia Ramirez improved by four strokes to shoot a 200 for the tournament.

CBC is back on the course next Monday and Tuesday for the Blue Mountain Spring Classic at Old Waverly Golf Club.
