High school basketball state championships begin Thursday 

CONWAY — Arkansas PBS will present the Class 6A-1A 2024 Centennial Bank High School Basketball State Championships live from Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs beginning Thursday, March 7, in partnership with the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA). Games will be broadcast statewide over the air, on cable and on satellite on Arkansas PBS’s primary channel and will also be available to watch live and on demand at myarpbs.org/watchsports or in the PBS App.

  • 3A girls – Bergman vs. Salem – Thursday, March 7, at noon.
  • 3A boys – Bergman vs. Central Arkansas Christian – Thursday, March 7, at 1:45 p.m.
  • 4A girls – Farmington vs. Morrilton – Thursday, March 7, at 6 p.m.
  • 4A boys – Farmington vs. Little Rock Christian – Thursday, March 7, at 7:45 p.m.
  • 5A girls – Greenwood vs. Vilonia – Friday, March 8, at noon.
  • 5A boys – Benton vs. Pine Bluff – Friday, March 8, at 1:45 p.m.
  • 6A girls – Little Rock Central vs. Conway – Friday, March 8, at 6 p.m.
  • 6A boys – Little Rock Central vs. Bryant – Friday, March 8, at 7:45 p.m.
  • 1A girls – Mammoth Spring vs. Norfork – Saturday, March 9, at 11:30 a.m.
  • 1A boys – Nevada vs. Marked Tree – Saturday, March 9, at 1:15 p.m.
  • 2A girls – Mt. Vernon-Enola vs. Mansfield – Saturday, March 9, at 6 p.m.
  • 2A boys – East Poinsett County vs. Marshall – Saturday, March 9, at 7:45 p.m.

Throughout the state finals, AR PBS Sports will present profiles of outstanding student-athletes from each division.

In the week following the finals, games will be available to watch on demand at myarpbs.org/watchsports and in the PBS App, allowing coaches, players, families, college recruiters and others to watch at their convenience.
