Hendrix women’s basketball picked 7th in SAA Coaches’ Poll

CANTON, Ga. — On Tuesday, the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) released the 2024-25 women’s basketball preseason poll, with Hendrix earning 7 points in the polling.

The voting was conducted among the SAA’s seven head coaches. The complete poll is as follows:

Wes Sullivan enters into his first season as head coach of the Hendrix College Women’s basketball program. Sullivan inherits a roster that returns every starter from the 2023-24 team, including the 2023-24 SAA Newcomer of the Year in Riley Brady.

Hendrix opens the season on Nov. 4 with an exhibition contest versus the University of Central Arkansas before opening their regular season account on Nov. 9 at Williams Baptist.

Their first home game will be on Nov. 10 against Centenary College.
