In 2022, McKinnon was the Great American Conference Player of the Year and received Second Team All-Central Region from the D2 Conference. She helped lead the Lady Bisons to a 30-2 season, GAC regular season and tournament championships and a berth in the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament.

McKinnon led the GAC with a .335 hitting percentage. She ranks eighth in career hitting percentage at Harding (.284) and 10th in blocks per set (0.81).

McKinnon joins former Lady Bisons Erika Pierson (2000), Katie Westmoreland (2006) and Lisa Copeland (2013) on Harding’s Academic All-America list. Westmoreland holds Harding’s only other First Team honor.
