Harding men’s indoor track & field ranked No. 11

SEARCY — After a weekend that produced seven NCAA provisional qualifying marks, the Harding men’s indoor track and field team jumped to No. 11 in the latest USTFCCCA Division II Top 25 Rankings.

Harding has six athletes ranked in the top 30 in Division II in their events.

Junior Dakarai Bush is ranked second nationally in the 400 meters with a school-record time of 47.30 seconds. Bush is also 12th in the 60-meter hurdles, with a time of 7.96 seconds.

Freshman Vlad Malykhin is second in the pole vault with a school-record clearance of 5.32 meters or 17 feet, 5.50 inches.

Sophomore Antiwain Jones is ninth in the high jump. He cleared a school-record height of 2.12 meters or 6 feet, 11.50 inches.

Freshman Yves Bilong is seventh nationally in the triple jump. He holds the school record at 15.39 meters or 50 feet, 6 inches.Junior Jonathan Wall is 15th in the pole vault at 4.92 meters or 16 feet, 1.75 inches, and junior Ben Ferris is 26th at 4.82 meters or 15 feet, 9.75 inches.

Harding returns to action this weekend at the Arkansas Qualifier in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
