25 Aug 2012 Greenbrier Nursing Home hosts back-to-school event
Greenbrier Nursing & Rehabilitation Center recently held its third annual back-to-school “Backpack Bash.”
Guests were greeted by SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer. Ice cream sundaes were served and the residents, and kids had a great time. Students in kindergarten through the fifth grade were given backpacks and some school supplies.
“The residents look forward to this community event every year, and our turnout was fabulous,” said Stacey Ussery, center administrator. “We would like to thank everyone who came out and shared in this experience with our residents, and we hope you have a great school year!”
