The event is set to present this year’s Power of Purpose Award to the Hickingbotham Family. It will also showcase a menu prepared by Chef Chester Wright and his Morrison culinary team as well as a live auction featuring a custom designed necklace from Sissy’s Log Cabin.

A Reception with Liukin, sponsored by Roller Funeral Home, is planned for Wednesday, Oct. 18, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. It will be hosted by Dr. Ramey and Katie Marshell at their home.

Liukin won five medals at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, including the coveted All-Around Gold medal. She has since been inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame, USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame, and the United States Olympic Hall of Fame.

After achieving her biggest dream in the sport and graduating from New York University, Liukin set out to make her mark on the world beyond her athletic career. For the past decade, she has been the lead female gymnastics analyst with NBC Olympics.

Additionally, she founded one of the most prestigious events in the sport of gymnastics, The Nastia Liukin Cup, which is coming up on its 15th year. She also serves as a motivational speaker, sharing her learnings and practices with Fortune 500 companies and their key teams.

Tapping into the loyal fanbase she has cultivated over the last fifteen years, Liukin launched her influencer business, which has led to collaborations with world-leading brands and retailers. Using her platforms, she hopes to inspire others to set dream-worthy goals and empower them with the tools needed to achieve them.

Proceeds from this year’s Bolo Bash Luncheon will support Baptist Health’s strong team of specialists as well as the expansion and renovation needs of Baptist Health Breast Center-Little Rock. Baptist Health Breast Center-Little Rock, including Baptist Health High-Risk Breast & Hereditary Cancer Clinic, cares for 40,000 women and their families annually.

Bolo Bash was first introduced in 1989 as a seated dinner with silent and live auctions. The event was founded by Margaret Price and the honorable Frank D. White with a country/western theme – inspiring the iconic Bolo Bash name. The dinner has since evolved into a lunch-only event hosting a multitude of distinguished speakers.

Reception or Luncheon tickets can be purchased online at baptisthealthfoundation.org. Tickets are $300 for the Luncheon and $85 for the Reception. For more information about either event, call Baptist Health Foundation at 501.202.1839.
