How we met: Our best friends are brother and sister, and they introduced us. We hit it off immediately!

The proposal: On Dec. 6, 2012, I took Natalie back to the place where we first met and placed my guitar there with a card sitting beside the guitar with her name on it. She opened the card and I was on a knee with the ring as she read the card. When she got done, I asked if she would marry me. She jumped and screamed, “YES!” Then I played her a song on the guitar and we went to the Eric Church concert!

Children: One child on the way due Dec. 14. It is a boy who will be named Zachary Randall Dixon, II.
