Duever has received numerous honors, including being named the Most Valuable Player in the Southland Conference. She played a major role in her team being crowned Southland Conference champions.

In 2015, she graduated from UCA with a bachelor of science in education degree. At UCA, she made the dean’s list.

After graduation, she played professional basketball in the Bulgarian Professional League, where she averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds per game.

“She has a heart for young people and a passion for Christ,” said CCS Athletic Director Michael Carter. “She is eager to meet her teams and begin her work at CCS.”

On Monday, Duever met CCS female athletes and their parents.
