Clinton library hosts 'Play Ball' exhibit

The William J. Clinton Presidential Center is hosting a special exhibit – “Play Ball! The St. Louis Cardinals” through Sunday, Sept. 16.

The exhibit has decades of memorabilia from one of the country’s most storied franchises, the St. Louis Cardinals.

The exhibition features more than 100 items, including the World Series trophy from 2006 and 2011, championship rings and artifacts. Stan Musial’s newly-restored uniform – on loan from St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame & Museum – is also displayed.

"Play Ball" reflects the joy, the heartache and the fun that comes with being a baseball fan.

"We are delighted to partner with the Clinton Center to showcase the rich history and exciting legacy of the St. Louis Cardinals. This is a great opportunity to view artifacts from the Cardinals organization which has the best team collection in all of baseball," said Bill Dewitt, III, president of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Library hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, including admission prices, visit clintonpresidentialcenter.org.
