Adams, Bruce Selected for NCAA Outdoor Championships

CONWAY — Hendrix College will send two student-athletes to the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships as B Adams and Westin Bruce both made the cut and will compete on the national stage for the first time in their collegiate careers.

Adams will compete in the women’s discus, with her 45.00m toss at the SCAC Championships ranking 21st in the country. Her mark at the conference championships set a new program record and a new conference record in the event.

Bruce will compete in the men’s 100 meters. Bruce clocked a 10.41 at the SCAC Championships to win the event and set a new program outdoor record. His personal best ranked 16th nationally at the end of the regular season.

The 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships will start on Thursday, May 21, at the Veteran’s Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
