Youth Home fundraiser scheduled April 7

Eggshibition 2017 will be 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, April 7, at the Jack Stephens Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The event, in its 26th year, benefits Youth Home, which offers mental health services for adolescents and their families.

A VIP reception is planned at 6 p.m. for those with a patron ticket ($75 each). Patrons get an extra hour of fun and receive special recognition at the event. General admission tickets are $50 each. To purchase tickets, visit youthhome.org/eggshibition.html.

It will be a fun evening with live music from the Rodney Block Band and delicious food. A silent auction will have original hand-blown glass eggs from James Hayes.

Many of the other artists work with plaster eggs, ostrich eggs or create their own unique medium. While much of the art features the Eggs theme, the silent auction has a wide variety of items to bid on. The live auction will feature Craig O’Neill as auctioneer. David Bazzell and Chris Kane will be hosting the event.
