08 Jul 2026 Arkansas Century Farm Program Accepting Applications Through July 31
LITTLE ROCK, AR — The Arkansas Department of Agriculture is reminding farm families that applications for the Arkansas Century Farm Program are open now through July 31.

The program recognizes Arkansas families who have owned and continuously farmed the same land for 100 years or more, honoring their longstanding contributions to the state’s agricultural heritage.
The program is voluntary, and there is no cost to apply. To qualify, farms must meet the following requirements:
- The same family must have owned the farm for at least 100 years by December 31, 2026. Ownership may pass through generations, including children, grandchildren, siblings, and nephews or nieces – by birth, marriage, or adoption.
- The farm must include at least 10 acres of the original land acquisition and make a financial contribution to the overall farm income.
Qualifying farms will receive a personalized Arkansas Century Farm certificate and metal sign listing the farm name and year established.

Established in 2012, the Arkansas Century Farm Program highlights the historical significance of Arkansas farm families and their lasting impact on the state’s agriculture industry. Since its inception, 687 farms have been inducted. More information and the program application are available on the Department’s website here.
