'Year of the Girl' exhibit opens

Girl Scouts – Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas, in partnership with the Clinton Presidential Center, are pleased to announce the launch of the “Year of the Girl” exhibition, which celebrates a century of Girl Scouting and empowering girls of today and tomorrow.

The special exhibition honors the 100 year anniversary of the Girl Scouts by sharing the rich traditions of scouting with unique artifacts, vintage uniforms and photos representing every decade since the 1910s.

Girl Scouts and alumnae from all over the Diamonds Council gathered on Saturday for the official opening of the “Year of the Girl” exhibition at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock.

The “Year of the Girl” exhibition will be open through Sunday, April 1, as part of the center’s temporary exhibit schedule.
