Yadaloo festival Sept. 19

Due to the ongoing global pandemic, Yadaloo Music & Arts Festival 2020 will transition to an online event planned at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19. It will include some of country music’s most talented local, regional and national acts.

A small, socially-distanced VIP and sponsor viewing party will also be held.

“Our first Yadaloo festival was a great success and while it makes us sad that we’re not able to offer the same experience this year, we’re very excited to give country music fans a way to safely enjoy a night of both home grown and nationally-recognized talented musicians,” said organizer Susan Erwin Prowse, co-founder and owner of Big Red Dog Productions. “We’re proud to offer a safe and unique experience this year while still supporting these artists who have taken a huge hit throughout this coronavirus crisis.”

Yadaloo has teamed up with CWP Productions to offer a real-time, live virtual experience for viewers anywhere in the world. A portion of the proceeds will go to Yadaloo’s nonprofit partner, City Connections Inc., which is working to commit 1 million meals to needy Arkansas families this year.

Yadaloo was named the Best New Festival of the Year by the Arkansas Festival & Events Association in 2019.

The mission of Yadaloo is to provide national, top quality entertainment while boosting the local economy through a trend-setting experience that will build into state and national prominence. The organizers of Yadaloo strive to create a new, one-of-a-kind experience that will capture the free spirit of the community while highlighting its rich history. The 2019 Yadaloo Music & Arts Festival not only featured well-known country music entertainment but also offered a variety of creative arts activities including interactive art installations, multiple arts and crafts vendors, a dedicated game and activity area for all ages as well as a variety of food and beer vendors.
