Will Henley named National Merit Finalist

Conway Christian High School recently recognized one of its own for his academic achievements.

At a school-wide chapel and reception, Will Henley was honored for being named a National Merit Finalist. He is the seventh CCS student to be named a finalist.

Will – who received more than $1 million in scholarship offers from 15 universities – plans to attend the University of Tulsa next year and pursue a law degree.

He is a son of Richard and Amanda Henley.

The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test – which serves as an initial screen of approximately 1.5 million entrants each year – and by meeting published program entry/participation requirements.
