Unity Health welcomes physician

Unity Health recently announced Dr. Delaney L. Kinchen, D.O., has joined Unity Health Graduate Medical Education (GME) and the Unity Health Emergency Medicine Physician Staff.

Kinchen has been practicing medicine for more than 13 years and specializes in emergency medicine. After attending the University of Arkansas in Monticello for his undergraduate studies, Kinchen attended the University of Health Sciences – College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Mo., followed by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Department of Emergency Medicine for his residency. He has previously practiced in Pine Bluff, Monticello and Little Rock.

In addition to medicine, his interests include hunting, fishing, welding and spending time with his family: wife Christy and three children Drake, Caden and Kate.

The Unity Health GME program for osteopathic medicine began July 2015 and is located in Searcy, on the Unity Health − White County Medical Center Campus. The family medicine and internal medicine programs offer three years of intensive, hands-on training and the psychiatry program offers four years of comprehensive training. Consisting of more than 150 physicians representing a broad range of specialties, the programs offer residents excellent educational experiences in both hospital and clinic environments.
