06 Jul 2026 City of Conway creates a Community Forest Plan July 21

The City of Conway is creating a Community Forest Plan to help sustainably manage trees and forests over the next 20 years.

Residents are invited to attend a Community Forest Plan Meeting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, in the City Council Chambers at Conway City Hall.

This meeting is an opportunity for residents to share what they want to see for the future of Conway’s trees, provide feedback on draft recommendations, and visit with City staff and other community members.

Funding for the project is provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service’s Urban and Community Forestry Program, in partnership with the Arkansas Department of Agriculture.
