UCA’s Reynolds plans Celtic Angels

“Celtic Angels Ireland” is planned at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 16, at UCA’s Reynolds Performance Hall. The concert is a benefit for the Main Stage EdUCAtion program.

The University of Central Arkansas’s Reynolds Performance Hall will welcome “Celtic Angels Ireland” at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 16.

The award-winning Celtic Angels celebrate its heritage through rigorously performed Irish dances and traditional Irish music featuring the beautiful voices of Victoria Kenny, Emily Carroll, Tammy Browne, Amy Penston and Ellie Mullane.

The performance also includes the stunning dance routines of the Celtic Knight Dancers, two of which are former lead dancers of “Riverdance.” The Trinity Band Ensemble of Dublin will round out the show with flawless interpretations of authentic Irish instrumentals.

“This group is phenomenal with their beautiful voices and mesmerizing dance steps,” said Amanda Horton, director of Reynolds Performance Hall. “They performed at Reynolds last year, and the audience was on the edge of their seats watching the performers. We are so excited to bring them back within days of St. Patrick’s Day to celebrate Irish culture.”

Tickets are $30-$40 for adults and $10 for children and students. Tickets may be purchased at uca.edu/Reynolds, at the Reynolds Box Office from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by calling UCA Ticket Central at 501.450.3265 or toll-free at 866.810.0012.
