UCA plans annual Green Week

The annual Green Week at the University of Central Arkansas is planned Monday, March 25, through Friday, March 29.

Students are hosting a week-long event on the UCA campus to raise awareness and promote activism regarding environmentally-friendly initiatives, as well as educate the community on the environment.

Day-time activities are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. On those nights, starting at 6 p.m., notable speakers and documentaries from around the state will be presented. Themes are set for each day: Monday-Green Businesses, Tuesday-Food & Water, Wednesday-Recycling, Thursday-The Natural State and Friday- Energy.

This event is open and free to the public! Anyone wanting a fun experience to learn about the environment and how to actively help are encouraged to attend.

Also, for anyone who would like to be part of this event, there are booths and speaking-times available.
