UCA names Randle as director of development

Arkansas native Joycelin Randle has joined the University of Central Arkansas Division of Advancement as the new executive director of development.

In this role, Randle will coordinate all development programs such as major gift, annual giving and planned giving programs. She will serve as a principal gifts officer for the university’s top prospects while working collaboratively with college development and advancement officers.

“I am excited to join the advancement team, and I look forward to working with the UCA community to advance the mission and goals of the university,” Randle said.

She previously worked as the director of development at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While there, she was co-chair of the Staff of Color Association and a member of the university’s leadership academy for faculty and staff.

Randle also held positions in higher education at Colorado College and Vanderbilt University Law School. Before entering into higher education, Randle was a litigation associate at Fredrikson & Byron in Minneapolis and also clerked for the Honorable Tanya Bransford with the Hennepin County District Court in Minnesota.

The North Little Rock native earned a bachelor of arts degree from Arkansas State University and a juris doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School.
