UACCM presents 'Magic by Scott Davis'

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton will present “Magic by Scott Davis” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Fine Arts Auditorium on the UACCM campus. The event is free and is open to all ages.

Davis has performed magic professionally since the age of 14. Currently he performs more than 300 live shows per year and is one of the busiest performers in magic today. From the stages of Las Vegas casinos to resorts nationwide, his unique blend of comedy and magic has been seen by more than 1 million people across America. He has been featured on television affiliates for ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox and has opened for comedian Jay Leno. His off-beat sense of humor and award-winning magical style captivates audiences young and old.

Davis makes his home in Hot Springs. Throughout the summer months, he presented his full evening comedy magic show at the RayLynn Theater in historic Downtown Hot Springs. Davis was awarded the 1999 Comedy Magician of the Year by the Arkansas Alliance of Magical Performers and the Arkansas Close-up Magician of the Year for 2000 and 2007 by the Arkansas chapter of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. He has served as a guest columnist for “Magic Magazine” and “The Magic Menu Journal.” His DVD titled “Marketing Your Magic in the Real World” is sold to magicians in magic shops around the globe.

The community is encouraged to attend this free event full of magic, comedy and fun. For more information, contact Courtney Stell at [email protected] or 501.977.2142.
