UACCM plans career expo Feb. 21

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) is hosting a career expo from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Workforce Training Center on campus.

The event is free and open to high school students and the general public.

From 9 to 11 a.m., high school students from grades 10-12 can explore career and program options with local companies and UACCM staff. Admissions officers will be on hand to answer questions and discuss what the college has to offer.

The event is also open to UACCM students and the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to meet with representatives from companies across Central Arkansas to explore employment opportunities, present their resumes and have an onsite interview.

Interested employers may register for a booth for free at uaccm.formstack.com/forms/workforce_jobfair.
