UACCM plans ‘Career Exploration’

For the third consecutive year, the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton will host two, free “Career Exploration” events in June for students who have completed the eighth through 12th grades.

The first event is Monday, June 12, and Tuesday, June 13, which must be filled to capacity before the second event – Wednesday, June 14, and Thursday, June 15 – will be open for registration. Each day runs from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

There is a skyrocketing demand for people with career-specific skills training. Join UACCM faculty and staff on this two-day journey where students can explore several exciting possibilities for their futures. Students will gain hands-on experience and leave with a better understanding of various career fields, along with the skills they require.

UACCM offers programs that fit almost everyone’s interests, such as Collision Repair & Refinishing, Automotive Service, Computer Information Systems, Drafting, Industrial Mechanics & Maintenance, and Welding.

“Career Explorations” is sponsored by UACCM’s Department of Workforce & Community Education.
