04 Oct 2021 The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra offers the music of a Little Rock composer on Oct. 12

The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra will celebrate Florence Price at 7 p.m., Oct. 12, at The Clinton Presidential Center. The Quapaw Quartet will perform Price’s Piano Quintet in A minor. Price was a Little Rock native and pioneering African-American composer. 

The Stella Boyle Smith River Rhapsodies Series features small music ensembles performing music curated by ASO musicians in collaboration with Interim Artistic Director, Geoffrey Robson. The program will also include music by Brahms and Max Bruch.
