Susan Lucci to appear at Baptist Health Bolo Bash

Best known for playing Erica Kane on ABC-TV’s “All My Children,” Emmy-award winning actress and New York Times best-selling author Susan Lucci will be the featured guest at the 2018 Baptist Health Bolo Bash Luncheon on Wednesday, March 28.

For 41 years (from 1970 to 2011), Lucci held TV audiences spellbound as the sexy, sassy and beautiful “woman you love to hate.” Over the years, she has also hosted shows, played roles in made-for-TV movies and guest-starred in several comedy series. Lucci’s many accomplishments, from receiving a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to being named one of Barbara Walter’s Ten Most Fascinating People, has made her an icon to millions.

To be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the J.A. Gilbreath Conference Center on the Baptist Health Little Rock campus, the Bolo Bash Luncheon will benefit the Baptist Health Healthy & Active Youth Program. This free program for kids ages 11 to 17 helps promote healthy lifestyle changes through nutrition classes, food demonstrations and exercise training with specialists.

Presented by Dillard’s, the luncheon will also feature a silent auction with 65 items to bid on from jewelry to get-away trips donated by more than 40 local businesses.

A special meet-and-greet reception for Lucci will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, at the downtown condo of Sandy & Steve Landers. Sandy is this year’s Bolo Bash Luncheon chairperson. Reception tickets or luncheon table sponsorships can be purchased at baptisthealthfoundation.org.
