St. Joseph School hosts Jingle Jog

CONWAY — St. Joseph Elementary School held its 2nd Annual Jingle Jog on Dec. 7. Physical Education teacher Brent Bruich organized it for students who are kindergarten through sixth graders. The event promotes physical fitness and combines it with the fun and excitement of the Christmas season.

Elizabeth Bradford, a third grader, enjoys the morning exercise despite cold temperatures.

K-3 children rotated through three 15-minute stations. They walked, jogged or ran for 10-12 minutes through station one as Christmas music played. Two inflatable obstacle course bounce houses were used at station two. Station three was a rest stop where hot chocolate was served.

Coach Brent Bruich is feeling the Christmas spirit.

Parents were also invited to participate, and all were encouraged to wear Santa hats and socks.
