St. Joseph Bazaar planned Aug. 5-6

The 104th Annual St. Joseph Bazaar will be held Friday, Aug. 5, and Saturday, Aug. 6, on the grounds at St. Joseph Church in Conway.

The event features fun for all ages, including traditional box lunches, a jam-packed carnival-style midway and a silent online auction.

Box lunches will be served on Friday, Aug, 5, and will feature homemade spaghetti noodles with marinara sauce, homemade "Jerry’s Brats," green beans and a homemade roll. Lunches will be available for pick up or delivery from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. from the Parish Hall Dining Room. Lunches can be ordered by emailing [email protected] or by fax to 501.329.1987 no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4. The cost is $9. A homemade dessert can be added for $1.

A traditional family-style dinner will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, in the Parish Hall. The meal consists of spaghetti and fried chicken with all the traditional sides. It is a deal for only $6 for children ages 6 to 11 and $13 for adults.

The midway will begin at 5:30 p.m. on the church grounds on both days. This is a great opportunity to play games and visit with friends from across the community. It is truly a family fun event!

A raffle drawing for the bazaar grand prize — a 2017 Ford Escape — plus other prizes will take place at the closing of the midway on Saturday.

An online silent auction can be accessed at stjosephconway.org, beginning Wednesday, July 27. It will close before the midway ends on Aug. 6.

All proceeds benefit St. Joseph School. For additional information, visit facebook.com/stjosephconway and access the Bazaar Event.
