Searcy Summer Dinner Theatre begins

The Searcy Summer Dinner Theatre, Harding University’s summer community-based theatre program presented by the department of theatre, will begin production of “Losing Patients,” the second summer show of the theatre’s 37th season.

“Losing Patients” is part of this summer’s theme “What LIES in Store” and will run through Saturday, July 6.

“Losing Patients” centers around the stately Silver Crest Manor, which sits as a once respected nursing home. However, on the inside, a seemingly benign location becomes the setting for a devious plot masterminded by a trio of greedy scoundrels.

The show will be performed July 5-6 in the Ulrey Performing Arts Center at Harding.

The season will conclude with “Wait Until Dark” performed July 18-21 and 25-27.

Each show begins with a buffet dinner provided by Classic Fare Catering. Individual tickets are $32, and a limited number of show-only seats will be $17 per ticket. Some performances have already sold out. Tickets can be purchased at hardingtickets.com, by phone or at the box office. For more information, call 501.279.4276.
