05 Jun 2017 Sacred Heart students recognized

Anna Jones and Brock Gottsponer, two seventh-graders from Sacred Heart Catholic School, earned state recognition due to their participation in the Duke TiP 7th Grade Talent Search.

They have earned an award on the state level by scoring approximately at or above the national average of recent high school graduates on at least one part of the ACT or the SAT college readiness tests.

Both students qualified for the Duke TiP 7th Grade Talent Search by scoring above the 95th percentile on one or more qualifying tests on their grade level testing from their fifth and/or sixth grade testing.  

Anna is a daughter of Larry and Kara Jones. Brock is a son of Kevin and Laura Gottsponer.
